Vertice joined Go Up as an entirely new brand with a brand new website, looking to become a leader in the fairly nascent SaaS purchasing and optimisation industry. The goal of the SEO campaign initially was to get the brand off the ground in terms of brand awareness and search visibility. Thereafter, we have focused on improving keyword visibility across the entire industry spectrum, competing with more established SaaS purchasing brands and growing non-branded organic traffic.
The website was very much in its infancy when Vertice joined Go Up. It was clear that many of the building blocks required for organic success did not yet exist. We built our strategy around developing new pages and assets on the website that targeted a mixture of transactional, informational, and commercial keywords across the SaaS lexicon.
We conducted meticulous keyword research to identify low hanging fruit opportunites and longer-term keyword targets, and matched the user intent behind these keywords to potential avenues of traffic into the website. This resulted in the creation of brand new product pages, solutions pages (both by industry and user case), a longtail informational content strategy, and a wider vendor-specific approach to keyword targeting.
Onsite efforts have also been supported by ongoing Digital PR and link building. This was vital not only for brand awareness, but to build the website’s authority through high-quality and contextually-relevant backlinks.
